ALL JAPAN KOI SHOW
"MATSUO KOI FARM WON THE KOKUGYO PRIZE"

At the end of January 2001, the largest KOI contest in Japan was hold at Tokyo.
It's called as "All Japan KOI show". At this KOI show, one of our breeders,
MATSUO KOI FARM won the 2nd KOKUGYO prize ! (( 12BU SANKE ))

What's 2nd KOKUGYO ?

KOKUGYO means "Japan National fish" in English. Only a few of KOI , that have the greatest quality in each category can win this prize... "This KOI should be called as is the best of all Japanese KOI".

KOKUGYO is selected like this. Champion fishes are selected from each variety and each category. And some of KOI that have "better quality than other fishes" are picked up as "candidate for KOKUGYO"

Matsuo won the 2nd KOKUGYO.
His KOI are NOT selected as NO.1, but his SANKE was better than other Champions. And we can say, it is the TOP grade fish in Japan and in the world.

"TO WIN THE KOKUGYO" is the dream of all Japanese KOI lovers in the world.

Nevertheless, the photo is NOT enough to introduce the quality to you, we can understand that the "KATA ZUMI" (black on the schoulder) is the point of this SANKE.

MATUSO changed his father fish to MOMOTARO line.
He introduced me that this trial might give me good result. In addition, it's unbelievable that he raised this SANKE from his mud pond just 3 days before the KOI show. Though the quality is NOT finished and treated, this SANKE won the prize,

We can say, the possibility of this SANKE is infinity. IN ADDITON, WE HAVE TO BE SURPRISED !

	At the last All Japan show, Matsuo won the KOKUGYO Prize by his KOHAKU 12BU. Maybe, you can understand,
how much difficult to win this KUKUGYO prize. And you know it is miracle, that one breeder can win this kind of excellent prize, continuously. It's honorable that we can deal with his KOI. And this is the good reference to explain the quality of Hamamatsu KOI.
