Mr. Mimuro has been breeding goldfish for 50 years.

In addition to Ranchu, there are lots of goldfish such as TOSAKIN, a goldfish which is recognized as a natural treasure in Kochi-prefecture, TOKAI-NISHIKI, a fairly new breed of goldfish which is a crossbreed ofJIKIN and CHOBI, etc., at Mumuro Fish Farm.

You can see Japanese rice-fish called HOTARU MEDAKA, which glow in the dark, at his farm.
"My goal is to make a farm which has a wide variety kind of fish, like a supermarket for goldfish."... Mr. Minuro said.

The "JAPANESE ORIGINAL goldfish are mainly exported from his farm.
